What is The QRFL? 

The QRFL is a Combat Robotics league aimed specifically at beginners and non-engineers. our aim is to encourage members of the queer community to participate in engineering in a fun, low stakes, supportive social setting. Think of it like the BBC's Robot Wars, but smaller, cheaper (and a bit more Queer)

Combat Robotics is a really nice entry into the world of electronics, not only helping with practical problem solving on the fly it also serves to demystify electronics - something that people use every day.

We aim to do this through free workshops, where people can get help, hang out and build robots together. Combined of course, with the usual tournaments!

If building a fighting robot sounds cool to you, but you don't think you have the skills (or its even possible for you) then you are absolutely in the right place! That is what we are here for!
